Had the honor of delivering a keynote speech on sustainability at the 2nd Edition of Sustainability Summit 2025, hosted by Bangladesh Brand Forum and Sustainable Brand Initiative. The keynote focused on the urgent need for Bangladesh to take stronger action on environmental sustainability and SDG progress. While the country has made notable progress in many development areas, environmental indicators remain a major concern, placing Bangladesh at risk of falling behind on key sustainability goals by 2030.The session highlighted the importance of treating environmental challenges as a national priority, encouraging stronger commitment from policymakers, business leaders, civil society, and young changemakers. It also emphasized that sustainability should be integrated into governance, business strategies, and public accountability, rather than being treated as a secondary issue.The key message was clear: time is limited, and achieving the SDG goals will require coordinated action, political commitment, effective policy implementation, and a collective sense of responsibility toward the future.
